Free Techie Camps Summer 2025 for Hennepin County Middle Schoolers

Techie Camps empower students to explore technology through hands-on activities and engaging projects that spark imagination and build essential technology skills. Discover tech careers and develop essential employability skills, including collaboration and problem-solving.

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Live or attend school in Hennepin County

  • Currently in the 5th-7th grade (rising 6th-8th)

Student Selection Process:

Students will be enrolled in Techie Camp on a "first come, first-served" basis until all spots are filled. Families will be notified via email. 

  • Each Techie Camp is comprised of 20 students and led by 2 Instructors. 

  • Families will be responsible for transportation and food/beverages.

  • Techie Camp will run from 9:00 AM -4:00 PM in St. Paul at the Metro State Energy Park campus on the following dates: 

  • June 23rd- 27th: MS Programming: Retro

  • August 4th- 8th: MS App Development: Swift
